Our Commitment to Quality

Husband and wife team, Ryan and Christina Edwards began making ice cream in their tiny Brooklyn apartment as a hobby. They took inspiration from local restaurants, travel, family traditions, and experimented with different techniques and ingredients to create fun and unique flavors. Testing their creations at friend’s parties and family gatherings, the feedback was overwhelming and ice cream requests became the norm.

During the summer of 2020 (you know, the year everyone is trying to forget!), Ryan and Christina sold their house in New York, packed up their one year old daughter and two year old puppy and moved down to Sunny Florida to be closer to family. Opening a business had always been a dream and it was Ryan who turned it into a reality. With Christina’s background in design and Ryan’s craftsman skills, they decided to design and build a custom ice cream cart in their garage and together fine tuned recipes to sell at local farmer’s markets, events and private gatherings.

And that’s how Great Heights Creamery came to be. We believe ice cream delivers happiness and creates community. Our journey carved a path to making lasting connections and incredibly delicious ice cream along the way.
